From the Artist

• Each work embraces the organic interaction of light, water, paper, temperature and time.
• Due to the hand-coated and hand-washed process, each print has its own unique texture and tone variations.
• This set features eight selected prints from the twenty photographs included in the photobook / CD “From Dust to Stars”.

About the Techniques

• Each print is created using the cyanotype process, a 19th-century photographic printing technique.
• Images are formed by UV exposure and developed in water to reveal the characteristic Prussian blue tone.
• These prints have been tea and coffee toned to achieve a warm brown tone.
